2013 Honda CBR 400R Specifications
The Indian market has already gained few 250cc bikes. Performance segment has gained momentum and now it feels like the Indian market is finally ready to accept a 400cc sportbike.
One of the famous Indonesian blog, TMC blog, has speculated the upcoming Honda CBR400R from a strong source. Most of the motorcycle manufacturers love to make 250cc, 600cc and 1000cc bikes, but the idea of manufacturing a 400cc bike by Honda looks like a really a good idea, as a 400cc bike is a perfect balance of performance and practicality.
Earlier, there were few 400cc bikes in Europe as they had some restriction regarding who can ride 500cc and above capacity bikes. If Honda CBR400R is brought into the global market, it would be a great success for Honda. As per our source, it will be it will be manufactured at Honda’s Thailand facility and Asian countries like Indonesia and Malaysia may get it soon.
Whether it will be launched in India is a major question. Indian two wheeler market is one of the largest and fastest growing markets in the world and having a 400cc will not do any harm. If ever Honda plans to launch it here, and there’s no reason why they shouldn’t, we can expect Honda CBR400R to foray into the Indian market in the year 2013. This bike will be a boon for all bikers who would like to feel some more power in their palm.
Honda CBR400R Bike Price Features Review Specs
Its been more than a decade since the Honda CBR400R production came to a halt. This 400 cc motorcycle popularly called the ‘BabyBlade’ was sold mainly in the Japanese market & disappeared with the dawn of the new century. Now according to a popular Japanese motorcycling magazine, Honda is all set to breathe life back into the CBR400R in order to offer customers an even wider range of choices. The new CBR 400R is expected to have a parallel twin-cylinder 400-cc machine that will generate approx. 50 PS of peak power & will attain a top speed of 180 km/h. Powered by a healthy 250cc single cylinder liquid-cooled fuel injected motor borrowed from the CBR250R, it is mildly re-tuned & makes 22 horses with stronger mid-range grunt that is much needed for off-road riding. The CRF250L is a budget off-roader for newbies but smartly carries the design cues found on Honda’s high-end off-road motorcycles from the CRF range. – Chillnews.net
